Amid the current worry surrounding the coronavirus, Banana Print have taken extra precautions to ensure our customers receive the same quality service whilst keeping you and our team safe.

We have now implemented a remote working system for all office based staff and reinforce daily to remaining production members around our facility on the correct way to wash their hands and the correct hygiene procedures stated by the world health organisation. As part of our commitment to safety we have increased our hourly cleaning timetable throughout the print facility.

Dispatch and Delivery

Currently all orders placed on our website are being printed and dispatched as usual, this includes Express & Express Plus orders. We have no suspected cases of coronavirus along with none of our team in quarantine. We have plans in place for nearly all office staff to work remotely so we can continue to provide the same level of cover.

We have been in contact with our main courier company (Parcelforce) about actions they are taking due to COVID – 19. All UK deliveries are now happening where the items are being placed on the doorstep by the driver and waiting for the recipient to open the door.

  • If the door is opened, in order to protect both the delivery driver and customers as much as possible, they will not be handing over the hand-held devices to customers to capture electronic signatures. The driver will instead log the name of the person accepting the item. This will apply to all deliveries that normally require a signature.
  • If the recipient is not in, then the driver will do the scan as customer not available and follow the normal terms and conditions of trying the next working day or attempting the post office or with a neighbour.
  • If the recipient refuses to give their name, the item will be returned back to the depot and a 739 calling card will be left through the door for them to collect from the depot.
  • If recipients are unable to come to the door or are self-isolating, we will post a customer contact card in the normal way, advising of other ways the recipient can arrange to get their item. For example, by getting a friend or family member (who is not resident with someone who is self-isolating) to collect the parcel from their local Parcelforce depot or Post Office branch, as specified on the card. They will need to bring along the card we left and a form of ID in the name of the person the item is addressed to. Examples of suitable ID are specified on the card.
