Why Use Custom Printed Notepads For Your Business

Who Needs Branded Notepads?
Custom printed notepads are one of those simple pieces of business stationery that can be used almost anywhere. We print them for businesses to use in meetings, offices and training sessions, as well as for conferences, exhibitions, welcome packs and promotional giveaways.

Unlike a plain notepad, your branding is printed on every sheet. That means your logo, contact details or message stays visible whether the pad is sitting on a customer's desk or being used to take notes during a meeting.

They're also easy to combine with other printed stationery. If you're putting together a welcome pack, sales proposal or set of training materials, for example, a branded notepad can be paired with custom presentation folders and business cards to keep everything looking consistent.

At Banana Print, each of our custom notepads contains 50 printed sheets, glued securely along one edge and finished with a rigid greyboard backing. This gives the pad enough support to comfortably write on even when there isn't a desk or hard surface available.

Which Notepad Size Should I Choose?
We offer custom printed notepads in A6, DL, A5, Square (210mm x 210mm), A4 and A3 sizes, so there's an option for everything from small promotional giveaways to large desk and planning pads.

A6 notepads are our most compact option. They're easy to carry and inexpensive to hand out, making them a great choice for exhibitions, events, promotional packs and anywhere you want a useful branded giveaway without taking up too much space.

DL notepads have a distinctive tall, slim format that works particularly well for checklists, appointment notes, order pads and jotters. Their unusual shape can also help them stand out from more traditional notepad sizes.

A5 notepads are a great all-round choice. There's plenty of room for everyday notes without the pad taking up too much desk or bag space, making A5 ideal for meetings, offices, conferences, training sessions and promotional use.

Square notepads (210mm x 210mm) give you something a little different from the standard A-series formats. The generous square page provides plenty of writing space and works particularly well when the design is an important part of the pad. They're a good choice for creative businesses, branded desk pads and more distinctive promotional stationery.

A4 notepads provide much more writing space and are well suited to meetings, seminars, training sessions and office use. If people are likely to be taking detailed notes, sketching ideas or working through information during a session, A4 gives them plenty of room.

A3 notepads are our largest option and are ideal when you really need space to work. They can be used as desk pads, planning pads, brainstorming sheets, project planners or large-format branded stationery. There's also much more room to incorporate useful printed elements such as calendars, planners, tables, checklists or dedicated areas for notes and actions.

If you're unsure which size to choose, think about how the pad will actually be used. An A6 or DL pad is ideal when portability matters, A5 is a versatile everyday option, while A4 and A3 are better when writing space is the priority. And if you want something that looks a little different, the 210mm square format is a great alternative to the usual rectangular notepad.

Why Do We Use 120gsm Paper?
Paper makes a surprisingly big difference to how a notepad feels.

Our notepads are printed on premium 120gsm smooth paper rather than the much thinner paper commonly found in everyday stationery pads. It gives each sheet a more substantial feel and provides a smooth surface for writing.

The extra weight also helps reduce show-through from writing on the previous sheet, which is particularly useful when your design includes logos, colours or other printed elements.

It's a small detail, but if you're putting your company's name on something, we think it's worth making it feel good to use.

What Should You Print On A Branded Notepad?
You don't have to fill the whole page with branding. In fact, keeping the design fairly simple often works best.

A logo at the top of the sheet, contact information at the bottom and plenty of clear writing space in the middle is a good starting point. You could also include your website, telephone number, social media details, QR code or a short message.

For internal company notepads, you might want to add useful areas for dates, project names, customer details or actions.

Remember that the design appears on every sheet, so your branding remains visible throughout the life of the pad rather than disappearing after the first page has been used.

Are Branded Notepads Good Promotional Giveaways?
We think notepads work particularly well as promotional products for one very simple reason: people actually use them.

A leaflet might be read once. A promotional notepad can sit next to someone's computer or telephone and be used repeatedly over several weeks.

Every time somebody writes a note, your branding is there too.

They're particularly useful for exhibitions, conferences and customer packs because they're inexpensive enough to give away while still being genuinely useful to the person receiving them.

And because your details can appear on every sheet rather than just the cover, you potentially get dozens of brand impressions from a single pad.

Notepads Or NCR Pads – Which Do I Need?
Although they can look similar, printed notepads and NCR pads are designed for very different jobs.

Choose a custom printed notepad if you simply need branded sheets for writing notes, meetings, training, promotions or everyday office use.

If you need to write something once and automatically create a duplicate or triplicate copy – such as an invoice, delivery note, receipt or job sheet – you'll want our custom NCR pad printing instead.

NCR paper is carbonless, so writing on the top sheet transfers the information onto the sheets underneath.

Keep Your Business Stationery Consistent
Printed notepads work well on their own, but they're even more effective when they form part of a consistent set of business stationery.

Using the same colours, logo and visual style across your notepads, business cards, brochures and custom presentation folders gives customers a much more joined-up impression of your business.

And it doesn't need to be complicated. A well-positioned logo, good-quality paper and a clean design can turn something as simple as a notepad into a useful piece of branded stationery that customers and staff will actually want to use.

Delivery Information

When Will I Receive My Order?

You will receive your order the next working day after dispatch but remember this product takes 48hrs for us to produce. So if you ordered before midnight on Monday your order would be printed and dispatched on Wednesday and delivered on Thursday.

How much is delivery?

So that we can keep our individual printing prices low but our delivery quality high, we charge £4.95 for each complete order to be delivered, we use a fully tracked 24hr delivery courier for this service. Some companies inflate the price of their products and then advertise "free delivery" where in reality, they include delivery in the price which means, you are paying delivery per carousel-item instead of per order.
